Some parts literally make no sense. Why would the Navy perform an experiment with an unknown outcome with people on board? That's not how you do it in any experiment. You do a proof-of-concept, graduate to practical experiment in small scale, then full-size experiment, and EVEN THEN you're reluctant to put people's lives at risk. Not to mention, it makes no sense that people were scrambled/teleported but the ship itself was intact. Organic matter isn't that different to inorganic matter, like steel, which also contains carbon. Therefore, if people were scrambled, the ship should be a mess of steel and fleshy bits. Additionally, being completely teleported to a nearby location COMPLETELY intact would be so hard that if they achieved it, we would know about it a few decades later, c'mon. Many contraptions that were initally used by the Army or the Navy were later adopted for civilian use, like GPS and Internet.

I'm glad that Bedtime Stories gave recognition to the Beyond Creepy RUclips channel, but wish they would have put a link in their description or something, as well. Mr. Black's channel is excellent and he digs deep to find paranormal stories that haven't been covered by others. Beyond Creepy isn't a flashy channel, but Mr. Black finds and shares some truly bizarre paranormal encounters. Sometimes they're quite frightening, while other times they're a bit on the fun/silly side. It's a great channel!

Thanks so much, once again my friends! :) In addition to other memories of this event from a variety of sources, I recall the amazing inclusion of these aircraft at the beginning sequence of Spielberg's "Close Encounters of a Third Kind". An amazing show, from an extremely gifted Director! Still ranks as one of my fave "Hard Sci-Fi" fliks, in addition to "Contact", "2001/10", "Colossus: Forbin Project", "Andromeda Strain" and many others. Classics, to be sure. :)
